Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Associate Superintendent of District Support and the direct supervision of assigned Directors, the Mental Health Intervention Specialist provides a continuum of school-based mental health services within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. This role supports students with emerging and intensive needs through evidence-based interventions that promote academic, social, behavioral, and emotional success.
Working collaboratively with administrators, educators, families, and community partners, this position helps create safe, supportive learning environments and strengthens connections between home, school, and community. As a credentialed mental health professional, the specialist brings expertise in counseling, data-informed intervention, and systems-level support to improve student outcomes.
