ROLE SUMMARY
The Weekend Quality Analyst at the Los Angeles Brewery supports product quality, food safety, and operational consistency across weekend brewery operations. This role is responsible for performing routine quality checks, collecting and documenting samples, verifying product specifications, and partnering with operations to identify and escalate quality concerns. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to follow standard procedures while supporting quality execution across brewing and packaging processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine quality checks and product sampling across brewing and packaging operations
- Complete testing and documentation to ensure products meet quality and food safety standards
- Monitor product specifications and escalate quality concerns or process deviations as needed
- Partner with operations teams to support issue resolution and maintain quality expectations
- Maintain accurate records, data entry, and documentation for testing results and inspections
- Follow all safety, quality, sanitation, and SOP requirements while completing assigned work
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to quality, process consistency, and operational performance
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science, Quality, Food Science, or related field preferred
- Experience in quality, lab, food/beverage, or manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard testing procedures
- Comfortable working in both lab and production environments
- Ability to work independently and communicate issues clearly with the team
- Basic computer skills required; experience with Excel or quality tracking systems preferred
- Willingness to work weekends, rotating shifts, overtime, and holidays as needed
