Job Summary

The Santa Cruz/Silicon Valley New Teacher Project (SC/SVNTP) is now accepting applications for contract mentors for the 2026-27 school year. These stipend employees, mentor a small number of Induction teachers. We are interested in candidates at elementary and secondary levels. Experience serving individuals, including adolescents, with autism and developmental disabilities preferred.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum of five years of classroom teaching experience Valid California Ed Specialist teaching credential Experience in the following areas preferred: - Teaching Multilingual students - California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP) - Adult Learning Theory - Culturally Responsive Pedagogy
