Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide traffic control, including performing the duties of a crossing guard, to ensure the safe and orderly flow of pedestrian and vehicular traffic during arrival and dismissal times.
    • \n\t
  • Maintain a dedicated outdoor security presence at all assigned posts including construction sites.
    • \n\t
  • Serve as a friendly and helpful point of contact, greeting students, faculty, and visitors in a professional manner.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • \n\t
  • Valid state-required Guard Card or license is mandatory.
    • \n\t
  • Proven experience as a Security Officer, Guard, or in a related customer service field (1-2 years preferred).
    • \n\t
  • Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods and patrol a large outdoor area in varying weather conditions.
    • \n\t
  • Demonstrated communication, observation, and critical-thinking skills.
    • \n\t
  • Must be flexible and adaptable, capable of handling potentially stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
