Complex Litigation Attorney Position Overview: We are looking for a talented Complex Litigation Attorney with a strong background in trial preparation and direct trial experience to support our litigation team. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of experience in litigation, with an emphasis on handling complex legal matters and a proven track record of success in trial settings. If you are a strategic thinker, passionate about challenging cases, and driven by results, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute complex litigation matters from inception through trial.
  • Lead trial preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other necessary filings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Take and defend depositions, engage in settlement negotiations, and argue motions in court.
  • Develop case strategies, collaborate with colleagues, and oversee junior attorneys and support staff.
  • Represent clients in pre-trial and trial proceedings, including strategy development and client counseling.
  • Maintain a high level of client communication and provide sound legal advice to clients on complex issues.
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant laws, regulations, and case law to provide optimal client service.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on complex litigation and trial preparation.
  • Proven experience in managing and preparing cases for trial.
  • Direct trial experience a plus.
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active licensed with CA Bar.
