Examples of Duties:
The 0.45 FTE In-School Resource Teacher assigned to support La Jolla Elementary School is responsible for push in and pull out, testing accommodations, lunch supervision, EL groups, etc. A little of everything that needs to be done for students success, no travel; working hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The incumbent will expected to:
- Work with all grades TK-5
- Collaborate with all staff
- Work for student needs in any capacity needed
- ELPAC testing
- CAASPP support/testing
- Interface with families of students work with per teacher/admin approval
Education and Experience:
Experience in the elementary setting for a minimum of 3-5 years; understand RTI; understand needs of multilingual learners, students with disabilities, gifted students.
Licenses and Other Requirements:
Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential by the closing date of the application deadline.

The examination process will consist of an application screening based on the candidate's education, work history and responses to the supplemental questions. Professional References will be contacted for candidates who are selected to proceed in the examination process. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications are not guaranteed advancement through any subsequent phase of the examination. Candidates selected to proceed in the examination process will be invited to an interview. Applicants who pass the examination process will be placed on an eligible list for a period of one school year. The eligible list will be used to fill vacancies at various school sites.
