As a Project Control Specialistyou will be responsible for helping plan, organize, and coordinating activities to support our current contracts, Project Managersand customers.


In this role, you will:

  • Provideassistance on projects from inception through completion to comply with the technical requirements of the contract for the customer.
  • Perform clerical and administrative support tasks, such as review, prepare, develop, and modify reports, documentation, forms for multiple projects programs per Serco policies.
  • Support Project Managers in drafting purchase requisition forms, statement of work documentation for requesting subcontract quotes, and supporting audits on purchase card, timecards, and health and wealth fare.
  • Review work for quality assurance.
  • Compose memoranda, reports, and other documentation highlighting project steps and status for daily and weekly meetings with customers.
  • Attend meetings andproduceaction items, meeting minutes or presentations about project status and work commitments.
  • Evaluate,develop,or implement procedures regarding project documentation and development.
  • Participate in long-range planning, analysis, and program design.
  • Participate in the planning and design of new projects as requested.
  • Have strong verbal/written communication, organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Bachelor`s degree0 to 2 yearsof workingexperiencerelated to the job description stated above,additional 1to 4 yearsof working experience may be considered in lieu of thebachelor 2019s degree.
  • 1 to 2 years of working experience managing schedules and customer expectationsrelated to the job description stated above.
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgmentwhile working remotely.
  • Must be able to multitask, attention to detail, therefore, must have strong time management skills.

Preferred Experience andSkills:

  • A currentDoDSecretLevelSecurity Clearance.
  • Be ableto demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Beable to demonstrate Intermediate level of skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Windows). Knowledge of MS Project is also a plus
  • Have 1 to 2 years of experience working in SharePoint
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
