PRIMARY SCOPE<5c pan=""><5c><5c trong=""><5c pan=""><5c>\n

The Concrete Finisher<5c trong=""> will be responsible for smoothing and finishing poured concrete for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters for highways, roads, streets, ADA Ramps, and\/or bridges.<5c pan=""><5c>\n

- - Weekend Shifts Required - - <5c pan=""><5c>\n

PRIMARY DUTIES<5c pan=""><5c><5c trong=""><5c pan=""><5c>\n

    \n
  • Work with concrete crew on\/around concrete forms, assisting with concrete pour and placements<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
  • Work with buckets and pump truck to place concrete<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
  • Finish concrete to meet horizontal tolerances and finish specs from hard trowel to heavy broom<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
  • Use bull float, broom and trowel machines to finish surface<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
  • Patch horizontal and vertical concrete (class C to class A finish per ACI standards)<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
  • Wear respirator for grinding and other required operations<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
  • Safety, Safety, Safety comply with all OSHA and company policies, procedures, and standards of safety<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
  • Perform other duties as assigned<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n<5c l="">\n

    REQUIREMENTS<5c pan=""><5c><5c trong=""><5c pan=""><5c>\n

    • 2 - 5 years of previous heavy civil concrete experience (preferred)<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Ability to use screeds and trowel float to smooth concrete<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Ability to climb ladders\/stairs and tie-off to forms and lifts<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Experience with patching that meets ACI standards for horizontal and vertical applications<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Experience checking grades\/elevations prior to and during pour to ensure FF&L tolerances are met<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Ability to run a vibrator and\/or work the pump hose<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Hardworking individual with a positive attitude and great work ethic<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy <5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat above 100 degrees, cold, and rain<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and government background check <5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n<5c l="">\n
