- Daily metering of all outgoing City mail and parcels
- Sets up internal customer accounts for various services, i.e., Confirm Delivery
- Track and reports mail trends
- Receive and log incoming deliveries
- Process UPS delivery requests
- Process invoices
- Maintain daily deliveries to offsite City facilities
- Other assignments/ duties as assigned

ARE YOU QUALIFIED

Education and/or Experience:
Graduation from high school or equivalent, which included some training in the clerical occupational field or any combination of training and experience that provides the desired knowledge and abilities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of basic recordkeeping methods; postal rate and regulations; office equipment operation. Ability to maintain accurate records; calculate postage; operate a variety of office equipment; alphabetize or numerically/chronologically sort materials; work without supervision; understand and follow oral and written instructions; organize work and set priorities; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Special Requirements:
Possession of or ability to obtain an appropriate California driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequent standing and walking. Dexterity and coordination to handle files and single pieces of paper; frequent lifting ofitems weighing up to thirty pounds such as files, stacks of paper, mail, and other materials. Moving from place to placewithin the City Hall complex; some reaching for items above and below desk level.
WORKING CONDITIONS
A generally clean work environment with limited exposure to conditions such as dust, fumes, odor, or noise. Travel throughout the City is required.
