Maintenance II

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support facility operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, machinery, and building systems. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance services across the facility while delivering excellent customer service to residents, staff, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver excellent customer service to residents, staff, and vendors
Perform maintenance and repairs on:
Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
Gas and electric water heaters and furnaces
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment
Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts
Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Repair and maintain facility infrastructure and resident accommodations
Operate machine tools (e.g., lathe, drill, grinder, milling machines)
Complete work orders and assigned projects in a timely manner
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
Report safety hazards and incidents immediately
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following trades:
Plumbing
Electrical
Carpentry
Welding / metal fabrication
Boiler, hydraulic, or HVAC systems
Associate’s degree or 6 months to 1 year of related experience (or equivalent combination)
Ability to read instructions, write basic reports, and communicate effectively
Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios)
Strong problem-solving ability and mechanical aptitude
Physical Requirements
Frequent walking, tool handling, and communication
Occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, and balancing
Ability to lift:
Up to 35 lbs regularly
Up to 65 lbs with assistance
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
Work Environment
Exposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor conditions
Occasional exposure to chemicals, electrical hazards, and vibration
Moderate noise levels
Additional Requirements
Must successfully complete a background check and Live Scan fingerprinting
Clearance must be obtained prior to employment
Requirement is due to working in a senior living environment
Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
