We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support facility operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, machinery, and building systems. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance services across the facility while delivering excellent customer service to residents, staff, and vendors.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service to residents, staff, and vendors

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on:

    • Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems

    • Gas and electric water heaters and furnaces

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment

  • Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts

  • Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections

  • Repair and maintain facility infrastructure and resident accommodations

  • Operate machine tools (e.g., lathe, drill, grinder, milling machines)

  • Complete work orders and assigned projects in a timely manner

  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE

  • Report safety hazards and incidents immediately


Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in one or more of the following trades:

    • Plumbing

    • Electrical

    • Carpentry

    • Welding / metal fabrication

    • Boiler, hydraulic, or HVAC systems

  • Associate’s degree or 6 months to 1 year of related experience (or equivalent combination)

  • Ability to read instructions, write basic reports, and communicate effectively

  • Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios)

  • Strong problem-solving ability and mechanical aptitude


Physical Requirements
  • Frequent walking, tool handling, and communication

  • Occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, and balancing

  • Ability to lift:

    • Up to 35 lbs regularly

    • Up to 65 lbs with assistance

  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments


Work Environment
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor conditions

  • Occasional exposure to chemicals, electrical hazards, and vibration

  • Moderate noise levels


Additional Requirements
  • Must successfully complete a background check and Live Scan fingerprinting

  • Clearance must be obtained prior to employment

  • Requirement is due to working in a senior living environment



Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
