The Merchandiser’s main job function is to assist with sales and create brand awareness. We are looking for these talented and dedicated individuals to join our family.The duties of a Dietz & Watson Merchandiser are listed below but not limited to the listed duties:Set up deli cases and appropriately rotate deli productAssemble necessary equipment to use in the setting of casesMaintain marketing displays using Dietz & Watson Point of Sale (POS)Attract customers to deli by demoing productUse inventiveness to come up with new recipes and/or sandwiches for demoing purposesComplete all reports as necessary including store surveysMake regular store visitsBuild and maintain customer relationships by displaying high-level customer service techniques to deli managers and employeesPossess the knowledge and ability to both create and market Dietz & Watson party trays and sandwichesCommunicate any information deemed necessary to the Account Manager (i.e. grand openings, store closing, etc.)Maintain full distribution and display of products in assigned accountsMaintain a clean and sanitary work environmentPerform special projects outside of assigned territory Minimum Requirements Flexibility and ability to travel commute to territory within 20 miles of hiring locationMust be able to read and write EnglishMust have computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Must possess communication, organization, creativity, and customization skillsMust be able to exercise independent decision-making skills on a regular basisMust have a reliable vehicle and must have a valid driver’s license.Must have valid Real ID or Passport for travel.Physical RequirementsStanding, Bending, TwistingAbility to lift to 20 pounds frequentlyAbility to lift to 50 pounds occasionalPush /pull carts containing product – occasionally up to 100 lbs.WalkingReachingUse of both hands and armsGeneral Working Conditions/EnvironmentRoom Temperature while in storesAt times be in a refrigerated cooler area
