Shift: Nights

Job Type: Part Time

Reporting to the Shift Manager of the assigned area, the Nursing Assistant performs duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN)/Charge Nurse. Responsible for providing high quality individualized basic care activities within the Nursing Assistant scope of practice.

Minimum Education: High School Graduate preferred, Completion of nursing assistant certification upon hire

Minimum Experience/Skills: 3 months skilled nursing or hospital experience preferred

License/Certificates/Credentials: Current BLS certification, Certified Nursing Assistant certification required or current 2nd semester nursing student when hired or transferred into position.

Physical Demands: Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking. Lift/position up to 50 lbs. Push/pull up to 50 lbs of force. Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, manual dexterity and mobility, and ability to move quickly.

Vision Requirements: Ability to adjust vision sufficiently to perform position accountabilities

Working Conditions: Regularly exposed to the risk of contagious and blood borne diseases, subject to varying and unpredictable situations, exposure to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, illness), emergency and crisis situations, subject to irregular hours
Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries, occasional exposure to radiation hazards, radioactive substances, and biohazards.
