ALM model: provide assistance on analysis and reporting. Includes (a) development and documentation of model assumptions, (b) review and validation of ALM results, (c) production of ALM reports. Assist treasury transactions such as federal funds sold, fixed-income securities, foreign exchange, interest rate swap, and reciprocal deposits. Run Daily Foreign Exchange Rate Report. Prepare materials for ALCO and Deposit Committee meeting. Prepare various reports for managing the liquidity and interest rate risks of the Bank. Provide market and economic research and analysis. Provide assistance in managing department policies, procedure, and other materials. Stay current on all compliance related laws, regulations, and policies. Assist ad hoc projects/analysis. Oversee and execute a departmental research initiative focused on identifying operational inefficiencies, recommending actionable solutions, and contributing to cost reduction and organizational profitability. Engage in professional development opportunities, including workshops and training programs, to strengthen competencies and support career advancement. Skills & Desired Major. Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Strong communication skills Currently enrolled in a university, majoring in Finance or Accounting or Economics or related field. Excellent written skills to be able to document technical specs and system design. General understanding of finance and economic concepts. Compensation. The base pay range for this position is USD $19/ Hour to $20/ Hour.
