Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, Educational Services, shall provide district-wide support and technical expertise in planning and developing instructional strategies; perform a variety of technical tasks relative to technology and other assigned areas of responsibility; provide assistance to certificated and classified staff and site leadership teams. Important Details: 8-hour work day per TA contract Travel to schools The Literacy Focus TOSA will focus on: - Collaboration with principals and teachers - Tier 1 and Tier 2 literacy instruction, coaching and support (General Education K-8) - Implementation and support of Targeted Instructional Area and Powerful Practices - Supporting site data and assessment practices - Supporting site-based and/or district-wide professional learning

Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Five (5) years of successful teaching experience. 2. Experience in presenting to adult learners. EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS 1. Valid CA Teaching or Education Specialist Credential with EL Authorization/ CLAD. 2. Bachelor’s Degree with major coursework in education, education administration, behavior management, school counseling and/or educational psychology or related field.
