Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs a variety of technical and complex accounting duties in support of assigned District accounts and functions; maintains, reviews and adjusts assigned accounts; processes, records and audits various transactions; prepares and maintains a variety of manual and automated financial and statistical records, reports and statements.

PLEASE NOTE: Current OVSD classified employees may not hold two permanent job assignments. If you are already a permanent employee for the District and are interested in working more hours you may either submit a transfer request form to the Classified Personnel office or inquire about becoming a substitute in the same or other classifications, in addition to your permanent assignment.

We reserve the right to limit the number of candidates to those deemed most qualified for the particular vacancy, based upon application screening and test scores.

There will be an application screening for the position to verify that the minimum qualifications (education & experience) have been satisfied. We will email you via to advise you if you may participate in the written and/or performance exam. All candidates will be required to provide a photo ID with their signature. Face coverings are highly recommended but not required.

If you pass the written and/or performance exam, you may be scheduled to participate in the Oral/Technical Exam. Candidates must pass each portion of the exam in order to proceed in the recruitment and be placed on the eligibility list.

The eligibility list for this recruitment will be valid for one year.

Written Exam: Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Once you have applied, it has been determined that your application is complete, and you have met the minimum qualifications, you will receive an invitation to test via email with the date of the exam. Comments and Other Information
Employees who work thirty (30) or more regularly assigned hours per week are eligible for health and welfare benefits and will receive a district contribution toward a cafeteria fringe benefit package.
