The Fresno County General Services Department invites applications for the position of Facility Services Manager. Incumbents are responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating divisional goals, programs, policies, and procedures. This is accomplished through consultation with the Director of General Services, staff of County departments, and by directing subordinate staff responsible for carrying out activities essential to the day-to-day operations of the division.

- Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants must qualify under one (1) of the options listed below:OPTION 1Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree that is acceptable within the United States’ accredited college or university system.Experience: Three (3) years of full-time, paid work experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity in facility construction, alteration, and/or repair projects which included operations planning, budget analysis, and/or cost estimation.ORThree (3) years of full-time, paid work experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity directing facility services functions in a governmental, commercial, industrial, or institutional setting involving operations planning, budget analysis, and/or cost estimation.Substitution: Additional experience with the County of Fresno as a Facility Services Supervisor, Building Maintenance Specialist or a Maintenance Services Supervisor may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.OPTION 2Experience: Seven (7) years of full-time, paid work experience as a Building Maintenance Specialist with the County of Fresno.In addition to the options listed above, the following may be required:License: Possession of a valid Class “C” driver’s license, or equivalent, may be required.Other: As a condition of employment, selected candidates will be required to obtain and maintain security clearance to access Fresno County detention facilities.HOW TO APPLY:

Please Note:- The eligible list for this recruitment may be extended up to 12 months and may be used to fill both extra-help and permanently allocated positions.
