Located in North San Diego County, Escondido Union School District is home to 24 schools- 17 elementary schools, 1 intermediate school, 1 specialty school, and 5 middle schools- and is a provider of the California State Preschool Program. We are the oldest Merit district in San Diego County and employ over 1,000 classified staff and over 1,100 certificated employees. Requirements / Qualifications

- CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENT - 1. Valid California Single Subject in Music or any teaching credential with Subject Matter Authorization in Music required REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS 1) Screenshot of CTC showing a valid Single Subject or Authorization in Music. Certificates are not acceptable. 2) Letter of Introduction 3) Resume 4) Three Letters of Recommendation (minimum two written within the last 12 months) 5) Transcripts

Comments and Other Information
SALARY PLACEMENT: Based on educational units and years of full-time teaching experience. Maximum placement is Class IV, Step 11 (with 10 years of teaching experience). HEALTH BENEFITS: Based on the selected plan/provider, full-time employees receive family medical coverage, employee life and vision, and employee or family dental coverage. Part-time employees receive benefits equal to the % worked. WORK CALENDAR: The calendar is 185 work days. All new employees are on an 11-month pay schedule. Returning employees are on a 12-month pay schedule.
