Job Description

GPAC has partnered with a well-established California based agricultural company that is under new management. They are in the process of expanding statewide and looking for highly motivated customer driven Experienced Agronomy Sales Reps to join their team.

Rather than selling products only, the company designs, delivers, measures, and continuously refines field specific nutrition programs throughout the season. They integrate agronomy, technology, chemistry, and data into a single operating system that works every day year-round.

They specialize in agricultural technology, providing innovative fertilizer and water treatment solutions specifically designed for specialty crops. Their product offerings include continuous fertigation systems, micro irrigation water treatment, and a variety of foliar sprays, all aimed at improving crop yields and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and maintain positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote repeat business
  • Make fertilizer and fertility recommendations to growers and farmers
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet territory goals
  • Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions
  • Forecast supply requirements
  • Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently
  • Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services

    Qualifications:

  • 3 years’ experience in agronomic sales
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in an agricultural related field
  • Must have a current CCA certificate
  • Proven leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Communicate and work effectively with grower advisors
  • Strong agronomic knowledge and a passion for working directly with growers
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Abel to provide professional references
  • Must currently reside in the region and have a valid U.S. driver’s license
