A PRELIMINARY or CLEAR EDUCATION SPECIALIST:
MILD TO MODERATE CREDENTIAL WITH AUTISM AND BRIDGE AUTHORIZATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT, OR A MILD TO MODERATE SUPPORT NEEDS CREDENTIAL
(This position will now require those with a mild/moderate authorization to obtain the new Bridge Authorization.)
If you are currently enrolled in an Education Specialist Credential Program and you will be completing the program by July 2026, instead of a credential copy, please upload unofficial transcripts as proof of enrollment or a letter from the university. Intern eligible applicants must upload a letter from the program.

Please be advised that final salary placement is determined by education and credentialed service years based on the certificated salary schedule.
Initial Salary Placement: Initial placement for years of experience is based on the following:
1. A maximum of six (6) years of experience as a credentialed public school employee (excluding
emergency permits and internship credentials), having worked a minimum of 75% of each work
year.
2. A maximum of six (6) years of experience as a credentialed private school employee (excluding
emergency permits and internship credentials), in a WASC-accredited private school, having
worked a minimum of 75% of each work year.
A total of up to 6 years of outside experience will be accepted.
